...今もなお、被災者の方々が精神的にも肉体的にも厳しい状況に置かれていることには変わりがなく、とても胸が痛む。しかし、いつか、必ず、立ち直れる日が来る。...復興の兆しがそこに芽吹いていることを信じて…。

... About one year after the earthquake, people living in Fukushima still have mental and physical difficulties, which hurts me very much. However someday the day when people recover will come. Maybe it has already started, but I believe that there are more things yet to come and germinate…

名倉 明子
Akiko Nagura

宇都宮生まれ。東京藝術大学音楽学部作曲科卒業、同大学大学院音楽研究科作曲専攻修了。2000年第17回現音作曲新人賞、2001年第70回日本音楽コンクール作曲部門第1位、2005年第4回宇都宮エスペール賞、2008年第2回牧野由多可賞作曲コンクール佳作。現在、聖徳大学、桐朋学園芸術短期大学講師。

Born in Utsunomiya, Tochigi prefecture, Akiko Nagura graduated from Tokyo University for the Arts with bachelor and masters degrees in composition. She has been awarded many prizes, including the 17th JSCM Award for Composers in 2001, the first prize at the Music Competition of Japan in 2001, and the 5th Utsunomiya espère Award in 2005. In 2008 she won an honorable mention at the 2nd Yutaka Makino Composition Competition. Nagura is currently a lecturer at Seitoku University and at Toho Gakuen College of Drama and Music.

After the Gentle Wind….
そよ風の後に....

"そよ風の後に...." はヒバリ プロジェクトの為に作曲いたしました。2011年3月11日に日本で起った東北大震災、その後の津波で亡くなられたすべての方々に、そして同年5月16日に亡くなった私の父中野信介にこの曲を捧げます。

After the Gentle Wind….for solo flute was composed for the Hibari Project. It is dedicated to all the victims of the Earthquake and Tsunami which happened in Tohoku (Northeastern Japan) on March 11, 2011. It is also dedicated to the spirit of my father Shinsuke Nakano, who passed away on May 16, 2011.

Koji Nakano

日本生まれ。オランダのハーグ王立音楽院でルイ・アンドリーセンに師事。カリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校でチナリー・ウングに学び博士号を取得。2008年S&R財団ワシントン賞グランプリ受賞。アジアン・ヤング・ミュージシャンズ・コネクション主宰し、アジアや北米での演奏会やレクチャーを企画。タイのブラパ大学大学院で作曲専任講師として教える予定。

Koji Nakano studied Louis Andriessen at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague as a Japanese Government Overseas Study Program Artist. He received his Ph.D. in composition from the University of California at San Diego, where he studied with Chinary Ung. In 2008 he became the first composer to receive the S&R Washington Award Grand Prize from the S&R Foundation for his musical contributions to U.S.-Japanese relations. In 2009, Koji co-founded the Asian Young Musicians' Connection. Nakano will be a full-time faculty member in composition at the newly created graduate program at Burapha University in Thailand.
